Experience: 0 – 3 Years
Required Skills:
- Core Java, OOP concepts, basic Spring/Spring Boot
- Experience with Angular fundamentals (components, services, routing, RxJS basics), JavaScript and TypeScript
- Good knowledge of HTML & CSS, including custom CSS
- SQL basics, REST API concepts
- Git fundamentals
- Hands-on familiarity with at least one AI coding tool (Copilot/Cursor/Claude Code/similar) for writing code, generating tests, and understanding unfamiliar code
- Ability to review and validate AI-generated code rather than accepting it blindly
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of code quality tools (SonarQube, PMD, Check style)
- Good understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain UI components using Angular (TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
- Build REST APIs and backend logic using Java/Spring Boot under supervision
- Write unit tests for assigned modules
- Fix bugs and implement minor enhancements as assigned
- Participate in code reviews (primarily as a reviewee)
- Follow existing coding standards, design patterns, and Git workflows
- Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) for day-to-day coding, boilerplate generation, test writing, and debugging — under review
- Attend stand-ups, sprint planning, and actively ask for help when blocked
