Required Qualification & Skills:-

• CPA equivalent/Chartered Accountant /Postgraduate in (Finance) Commerce or Accounting
• Relevant work experience preferably in Insurance industry
• Good MS Office skills, especially MS excel. 
• Good verbal and written communication
• Excellent Accounting Knowledge
• Experience in General accounting (R2R function)
• Technology skills – ERP knowledge preferred.

Job Description & Responsibilities:-

• Preparation and upload of Journals at the end of the month after analysis of account 
• Preparation & review of month end close tasks as per the monthly close calendar.  
• Execute internal controls and checks as part of the process and Performing task with accuracy and timelines.
• Preparation and review of Intercompany reconciliations and do vital follow-ups with relevant team to get variances resolved. 
• Daily bank reconciliations and clearing. Identify open items and take it up with relevant Team to get closure before month end to ensure no open items after the closing.
• Cash Management ensuring ODS and RGTS is done to the external/internal client in a timely manner.
• Perform regulatory and statutory reporting tasks which includes preparation of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flow statement and Notes to accounts. 
• Fixed Asset – creation/disposal & Depreciation Run in the Fixed asset subledger.
