Hero CoLabs App Challenge 2.0 | Win Xtreme 160R (Stealth Edition) + INR 20K Amazon Pay :-

All that you need to know about Hero CoLabs App Challenge 2.0, Hero MotoCorp is excited to announce yet another challenge under its renowned initiative, HeroCoLabs. HeroCoLabs App Challenge 2.0 will put the participants through multiple rounds to gauge their imagination and creativity skills. Go beyond the ordinary!

Competition Structure:-

Round 1: Design Theme Submission

• Participants to propose a new UI/ UX theme for the Application along with functionality screens
  • Any 2 Existing Functionality Screens
  • Any 1 New Functionality Screen
• Participants can propose any number of new features, along with the rationale in a presentation
• Participants can use any software/ code
• UI/ UX Guidelines
  • Intuitive: The Design should be simple, Explorable, Self-Explanatory
  • Clean: Minimalistic design with visually clear color scheme ensuring Hero MotoCorp brand tonality
  • Two Tap Rule: Most (If not all) features must be accessible in two-steps
  • Design should be responsive to fit different screen sizes and orientations
• Elements like Header, back-button, tabs, side menu should be used as per standard
• Design themes in Photoshop, Sketch or Zeplin should ensure every element used on-screen has its property visible to the developer – to read and extract
• Only one entry per participant
• Participants need to submit:
  • Three-minute video – Explaining the design theme and the new features
  • A Presentation – Explaining the concept of the design theme and all the new functionalities proposed
• Application Theme – Should remain aesthetically similar to the Hero App and color selections should be based on the Hero MotoCorp brand theme

Round 2: Application Wireframe

• Shortlisted participants to work on the complete application wireframe i.e. Application design for all the screens end-to-end
• Participants have to ensure all the functionalities (existing and proposed) are part of the wireframe
• Participants need to submit:
  • Five-minute Video – Demonstrating complete Application wireframe with new and existing functionalities
  • A Presentation – Explaining the entire wireframe of the Application

THE TASK:

• RE-DESIGN Hero Connect Application for Hero MotoCorp with a
  1. New UI/ UX Design
  2. Add New/ more features – aimed at increasing customer engagement
  3. More User Friendly
• Key Features :
  1. Top Existing Features:
     • SAFETY: Topple Alert, Speed Alert, Live Location Sharing, Panic Button
     • VEHICLE SECURITY: Live Tracking, Tow Alert, Geo-Fence Alert, Hero locate
     • DRIVING REPORTS: Trip analysis, Driving Score
  2. New Features (For e.g.): Remote Immobilization, Vehicle Diagnostics
  3. Any other feature

• All designs submitted will be property of Hero MotoCorp and Hero MotoCorp reserves the right to use full or any part of the submitted design for commercial purpose.
• Decision of Hero MotoCorp will be final.
• By submitting the participant agrees that the designs are original and HMCL is liable in the event of a breach of copyright or plagiarism. This is the sole responsibility of the participant.
