Required Qualifications & Skills:-

• Good learner and self-starter, ready for the next challenge – wherever it may be.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical, mathematical and debugging skills
• Good in problem solving & algorithms
• Good understanding of OOPs concepts
• Good understanding of processes and threads
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and in any of advanced JavaScript libraries & frameworks such as ReactJS/ AngularJS etc
• Good understanding of SQL & NoSQL with anyone of database technologies like MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL/MongoDB etc
• Good understanding of any of software version control system(s) preferably GIT
• Good understanding of Agile software development methodology, Design tools & Testing
• Great team player, innovator at heart with excellent interpersonal skills who is passionate about technology, has a strong interest in the latest technologies

Job Description & Responsibilities:-

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Associate Developer (Frontend) to become a key player in our Bangalore team. If you’re a seasoned Frontend pro and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.

• As a member of the Digital R&D you will be participating in entire life cycle of development, developing a complex, highly available, distributed, cloud-based solution and maintains its high level of quality
• Create & participate in writing technical specifications
• Research, design, write and test code, refining and rewrite it as necessary and communicate with any programmers involved in the project
• Work closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic designers, UX designers, other developers, systems analysts and sales & marketing professionals
• Consult clients and colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems
• Enhance & maintain existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification
• Monitoring and correcting software defects
• Investigate new technologies & willing to write blogs or publish technical papers & articles
• Shall be willing to meet aggressive timelines and motivate peers
• Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
• Communicate with stakeholders with good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of business applications especially insurance products is a definite plus.
