Required Qualifications & Skills:-
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent degree good to have Masters.
- Proficient in Java, J2EE with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of fundamental design and architecture patterns such as: n-tier, Publish/Subscribe, REST, MVC, Microservices, Data Access (OR/M, DAO’s…etc.), I
- ntegration tools, Knowledge of SOAP, REST and XML technologies (XML, XPath, XSL, XML Schema, RNG, DTD, XQuery, DOM, etc.)
- Good hands-on experience with MVC, JDBC, RESTful, SOAP Services.
- Experience with popular application frameworks, such as Spring, JSF, Struts, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Prime faces… Etc and UI frameworks such as Jquery, Nodejs etc.
- Experience in Database (SQL) database design, Query Development, and performance tuning as applicable w.r.t Oracle/DB2 Experience in both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies is an asset.
- Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, MS SharePoint etc. is an asset. Adherence to best coding practices and principles.
- Good Knowledge of performance tuning and provide optimal code.
- Should have good exposure to CI/CD frameworks like Jenkins, Docker etc.
- Familiarity with Hadoop databases like Hbase,Hive etc.
- Nice to Haves:
- Expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background Multi database, multi-language or multi business application experience preferred Anthem System Knowledge is an asset Experience with Rules Engines such as Drools
Key Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Analyses and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements.
- Codes and maintains complex components of information systems.
- Develops and performs unit testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results.
- Ensure code quality by performing technical design and code reviews Module level ownership and ensure that any development that occurs in that module is as per the agreed solution.
- Participates in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts.
