Skill Set Required:-
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Very strong verbal and email communication skills.
- Good financial modelling skills and valuation models.
- Knowledge of Factset and Bloomberg.
- Good report writing skills.
- Ability to scale up quickly on the role without any guidance.
- Candidate should be good with advanced excel skills, and use of excel to build and manage large databases.
- Open to travel within/ outside India to meet company management teams.
- Out-of-the-box thinker, who can quickly and independently understand the problem, devise solutions and deliver in a very short turnaround time.
- Knowledge of VBA and Python would be an added advantage.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:- Management Trainee– Equity Research
- Create and maintain excel databases using data from different sources.
- Design and execute excel based projects to identify good research ideas across geographies.
- Build and update company models and write research notes.
- Write initiating coverage reports for shortlisted public and private companies.
- Meet company management to understand business strategy.
- Keep a track of latest developments in the companies under coverage and the sector and update valuation target for the concerned companies.
- Conduct independent company-specific, sector or trend analysis.
- Ability to forecast income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement based on detailed analysis of company documents and webcasts.
