Minimum Requirements:–

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other that includes significant programming experience. Should have an experience of 1 – 2 years in software industry
• Working experience with Java – 1-2 years
• Knowledge in JSP or Javascript
• Knowledge in web servers preferably Apache Tomcat
• Experience using source code repositories, preferably Git
• Experience of using a unit testing framework such as Junit
• Ability to debug code to identify and rectify issues
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work closely and communicate with other members of the team

Desirable Skills:–

• Knowledge in Eclipse Rich client product framework or Eclipse plugin development
• Experience using one or more of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or Postgres
• Experience with web services e.g. REST
• Use of XML and/or JSON
• Awareness of networking principles, addressing and common protocols
• Linux experience
• Experience using Java memory analyzers and profilers
• Good understanding of Agile process and methods, preferably SCRUM
• Experience with continuous integration frameworks, preferably Jenkins
