Required Qualifications & Skills:-
- BE /B. Tech – Any Stream. IIT/NIT Graduates will be preferred
- Can be a fresher or Having 0-1 years of solving Business Problems through Data Analytics, Data Science and Modelling. Kaggle experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with ML techniques as stated in the Job Outline
- Should have strong expertise in Python & Excel.
- Familiarity with SQL is preferred
Job Purpose:-
- Assist the Analytics Function Head on Modelling tasks.
- Work on Data Pre-Processing and preparing it for Modelling
- Build Predictive Models & Recommendation Engines using state-of-the-art Machine Learning Techniques to aid Business Processes increase efficiency and effectiveness in their outcomes
Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Collaborating with Business and IT teams for understanding and collecting data.
- Apply Data Preparation Techniques for ML like Filtering, Data Cleaning, Missing Value imputation, Feature Extraction, Feature Engineering, Feature Selection, Dimensionality Reduction, Feature Scaling, Variable Transformation etc
- Apply ML techniques like Ensemble Modeling algorithms like Bagging (Random Forest), Boosting(GBM, LGBM, XGBoost, CatBoost), and other state-of-the-art ML Algorithms.
- Apply Modelling concepts like Hyperparameter Optimization, Feature Selection, Stacking, Blending, K-Fold Cross-Validation, Bias & Variance, Overfitting etc
- Perform Custom Analytics for providing actionable insights to the Business on Ad-Hoc Assignments.
Duration will be for 3 months and can be extended based on the requirements at that stage.
