Job Position:-Β  Associate-Software Engineer,Engr Software 2

Location:-Β  Chennai, India

Position1 :- Associate-Software Engineer

Qualifications:-

  1. Masters degree in Software engineering or computer science
  2. Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals, programming 
  3. Exposure/Experience in VC++, .Net and C#
  4. Exposure/Experience in software development life cycle activies
  5. Optional: Knowledge of CMM or other process models
  6. Optional: Knowledge of KLA specific or general semiconductor domain

Responsibilities:-

  1. Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of Inspector software and sub-systems
  2. Do requirements analysis, architectural analysis, design, develop and unit testing
  3. Do feasibility analysis of new features for complex software
  4. Co-ordinate with
    1. Engineering, marketing and application groups to innovate competitive software analysis solutions designed to address specific customer needs
    2. Globally located teams
  5. Acquire knowledge of key use cases in defect inspection using point product assigned
  6. Follow KLA defined software development processes (CMM)

Position 2:- Engr Software 2

Qualifications:-

  1. Studied BE/BTech/MS/MCA/MTech
  2. Strong in programming fundamentals, .NET and C++ with good software design exposure. Additional knowledge in Java preferred.
  3. Good analytical and problem solving abilities
  4. Thorough knowledge of SDLC and software engineering
  5. Strong verbal and written communication and team work skills

Responsibilities:-

  1. Responsible for software development activities using C#/C++ /Java
  2. Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of inspector software
  3. Participate in end to end product development lifecycle activities
  4. Acquire knowledge of key use cases in defect inspection using SWIFT tools
  5. Collaborate with teams across different geographical zones to develop / deliver software solutions
  6. Work across groups including systems/hardware, marketing, applications and manufacturing on all aspects of software project including requirement definition, design, development, deployment, support and service
  7. Understand and apply software development best practices.
  8. Travel to other KLA sites and customer sites on a needed basis
