Qualifications and Skills Required:-

• Having / Pursuing a degree in IT / Information Security or a related field
• Basic understanding of IT systems, information security controls, and network security principles.
• Familiarity with audit processes and methodologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify vulnerabilities and recommend practical solutions.
• Standard written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to articulate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

Paytm is seeking an Information Security Intern to join our Internal Audit team. This internship offers hands-on experience in auditing IT systems, information security controls, and network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced auditors to gain insights into auditing methodologies specific to IT, information security, and network security.

Conduct Audits and Assessments:

• Assist in conducting audits and assessments of IT systems, information security controls, and network security infrastructure.
• Participate in the evaluation of IT governance, risk management, and compliance related to network security.

Control Testing and Documentation:

• Perform testing of IT, information security, and network security controls.
• Document findings in audit workpapers, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.

Vulnerability Identification:

• Assist in identifying vulnerabilities within network security infrastructure.
• Recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance security measures.

Collaboration and Compliance:

• Collaborate with IT and network security teams to understand system configurations, security requirements, and compliance measures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Methodology Development:

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and frameworks specific to IT, information security, and network security.

Internship Duration – 6 months (Full-time internship)
