Required Qualifications & Skills:-
You’re eligible for the role of Cloud Engineer if you have:
- years of experience as a Cloud Engineer having basic cloud skills knowledge.
- Cloud engineers should possess knowledge/experience with at least one of the three most popular cloud providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong communication skills with ability to teach new concepts.
Roles & Responsibilities:-
Delivery On-Prem provisioning team in Platform Engineering is seeking a Cloud Engineer with basic knowledge on cloud technology to join our team at Thomson Reuters. The Cloud Engg will be responsible for provisioning cloud storage Storage, compute and Database technologies and ensure that the team adheres to its principles and practices.
As a Cloud engineer, you will:
- Provisioning and deploying on the cloud infrastructure. Troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.
- Ensuring cloud security : Cloud engineers must ensure that company security policies and best practices are followed when handling data storage and processing
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues: Cloud engineers are responsible for identifying and solving any issue; or weaknesses in an app’s infrastructure.
- Educating teams: Cloud engineers educate teams on the application of new cloud efforts and technology
- Be data-driven and make empirical decisions at every step.
- Create a high performing environment by resolving conflict, removing impediments, and identifying areas of continuous improvement.
- Anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery
