Required Qualifications & Skills:-
Technical Skills: (Must-Have:)
- Proficient in MS Excel – should have used in their day to day job
- Good practical understanding of formulas and functions – simple and nested
- Data cleansing and hygiene practices
- Conditional formatting
- Pivot, Slicers, Tables
- Various charts and their usage
- Summarization of data using above
- MS PowerPoint – Basic features to prepare the review deck with for customer presentations
- Charts, Tables, formatting, SmartArt etc
- Good to have
- Basic understanding or working experience with BI tools
- Basics of data analysis -data cleaning, slice and dice of the data (Not data science)
- Awareness of ITIL / processes / Incident / Problem / Service Request / Change Requests
Job Description & Responsibilities:-
- Understanding the key performance indicators (KPI) delivered to customers
- Understanding the applicability of each KPI in the respective business
- Understanding the data set requirement for generation of reports
- Understanding the dependencies for generation of reports and signoff with stakeholders
- Sorting out issues with the supplier of data in case there is any data discrepancy
- Generation of reports at desired frequency and within the timelines defined
- Keeping stakeholders informed about any delay in report publishing and with the appropriate reason for delay
- Preparation of SOP for report generation
- Reviewing of any process change to determine the change required in reports
- Conceptualizing and delivering adhoc report requirements
- Maintaining data in appropriate folders in central repository, follow file and folder structure guidelines
- Automate the reporting activity in MS Excel using various tools and reduce the cycle time of report generation and avoid human errors
- Work with Automation Team on Scope of Automation on Routine reports, create CRS’s for these Report Automation Projects
- Train the new resource to the current role and make the new resource capable to deliver from 15th day of OJT
- Mentor new member on the reporting activities
- Recommending improvements in process for enhancing process performance as an outcome of data analysis
- Understand duplicity in the reports/metrics and reports which are redundant and discuss with leaders to take further necessary action
