Job Position:-Β Assistant Engineer (Design Engineer )
Job LocationΒ :- Bangalore
Experience required:- 0-5 years
Qualifications, skills & experience:Β –
β’ B.E / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.Β
β’ 0-5 years for engineer and 5-10 years for senior engineer – experience in design of OLE services for Rail projects.
β’ Knowledge of code & standards and practices of Rail industry.
β’ Proven design experience; including concept, preliminary, detailed, construction phases.
β’ Has thorough technical knowledge of ;Cross section designΒ ,Layout plans, Allocation designΒ ,Earthing and bonding systemsΒ
β’ Preparation and checking of technical specifications, design basis reports, etc.Β
β’ Well conversant with health, safety and CDM aspects related to typical Rail systems project.
β’ Ability to carry out design reviews independently.
β’ Familiar with international codes, Network Rail and London Underground standards and practices related to UK Rail industry.
β’ Experience within a consultancy environment specifically in the Rail / Metro industry.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language, with good report writing, analytical and computer skills.
β’ Ability to think in an innovative manner.

Reporting to: Principal Engineer / Team Lead β OLE / ElectricalΒ
Role Objectives:–
β’ To take on a key role within the Rail OLE discipline, supporting principal engineer to build the team further.
β’ To manage selected projects (or parts of projects) meeting budgetary, quality and timeframe targets
β’ To assist principal engineer in developing technical capability of the OLE team.
β’ To carry out tasks assigned by Team leads.

Responsibilities:–
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
β’ Managing selected projects or components of projects, taking responsibility for quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications.
β’ Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
β’ Providing technical advice to project team members.
β’ Reviewing and ensuring compliance in the components of the project for which responsible, including drawings, reports, specifications and studies.
β’ Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients on projects.Β
β’ Assisting in developing team members to their full potential.
β’ Being familiar with, and compliant with, relevant H & S regulations and promoting a culture of awareness within the team.
β’ Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager.
β’ Inclination for learning and building technical capability.
