- Bachelorβs degree in computer science or engineering discipline
- 0 – 1 year of experience in server-side development – hands-on experience in Java
- Knowledge of Shell scripting language.
- Hadoop HDFS and Hive SQL query.
- Passion to seek out new technologies, innovative ways to approaching a problem and providing technical direction to junior engineers
- Fast executor with a track record of delivering complex projects on time; responds under pressures of time and uncertainty
- Strong written, editing, proofreading and oral communication
- Strong inter-personal communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in Big data technologies will be a plus

Job Description:–
The Associate Engineer of Data and Analytics is a data and technology enthusiast who is able to quickly grasp new concepts, eager to learn and able to convert that learning to realizing new capabilities, platforms, products and services. Will be part of the team that design and develop the data and analytics services for the end customers. The role is based out of India at the Neustar’s offices in Bangalore
Responsibilities:-Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β
- Working on Java or Scala based applications independently along with unit testing is expected.
- Building any Java or Scala based application using build tools like Maven, SBT or ANT.
- Able to work on Linux environment and perform basic shell scripting tasks.
- Create and deploy Spark application on Hadoop cluster.
