Job Description & Responsibilities:-
Sutherland is seeking an attentive and goal-oriented person to join us as Back Office Analyst
- Translate detail from a patient’s medical documents, such as physician’s notes, lab reports, procedures, and diagnoses into universal medical codes to maintain accurate medical records.
- Healthcare providers and insurance companies use these standardized codes for billing and record-keeping. Current ICD 10
- Responsible for assigning appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes to inpatient and/or outpatient hospital services, along with services rendered in skilled nursing facilities, free standing clinics and other places of service by providers
- Make sure that codes are assigned correctly · Complying with medical coding guidelines and policies.
- Should be compliant with HIPAA regulations.
